Byodo-In Temple
The Byodo-In Temple is a Buddhist temple that is nondenominational and located in the Valley of the Temples Memorial Park. It was dedicated in 1968 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the first Japanese immigration to Hawaii.
The Byodo-In Temple has been featured in several films and television shows. It was also used in an episode of Lost, “House of the Rising Sun.” The Byodo-In Temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

They are also located 50 minutes from Waikiki. The Ewa Villages Golf Club does not have a pro shop, but it does feature a snack bar and restaurant. It is open to the public.
The Ewa Beach Golf Club offers a stunning natural setting with the course situated in a forest of Hawaiian Kiawe trees. The course is semi-private, and is set amidst the beautiful Hawaiian scenery. This is a wonderful course that will delight golf enthusiasts with its scenic surroundings and incredible course conditions.
Restaurants
If you’re interested in eating at an authentic Hawaiian restaurant, Ewa Beach, Hawaii, is a wonderful destination. With many choices from traditional Hawaiian dishes to Asian fusion and shaved ice, this neighborhood has something to please any palate. While most of the neighborhood’s restaurants are located in the Ka Makana Alii Shopping Center, you can also find many smaller eateries scattered throughout the Ewa Beach region.
Ewa Gentry is a great place to grab a bite, but you may find it difficult to choose the right restaurant. Many of the local restaurants are located near parking lots, which makes finding one that’s accessible to your vehicle much easier.
